European Championship & Club Cup 2026

The European Championship combined with the European Club Cup is the peak of the entire outdoor season. Three days of competition, the best teams from over ten countries, and an atmosphere unlike anything else in sport.
Multiple weight categories are contested — men's, women's, and mixed. The tournament runs under the international federation TWIF, with the Czech national entry organised by the Czech Tug of War Federation (ČSPL). For national teams it's the official medal showdown; for clubs, the Club Cup is a unique opportunity to test themselves against the continent's top sides under their own flag.
For the newly founded TOW Rakovník, Sweden will be the first international showpiece in the club's history. The entire season points to this; the full squad will be announced in our news closer to the tournament, and up-to-date information about the club is on the team page.
