The second day of the Dutch weekend belongs to the Mixed 580 kg category. Mixed teams of men and women are one of the most dynamic and spectator-friendly formats in tug of war — combining strength and technique on a single rope.

The Mixed category places higher demands on rhythm and communication in the pull, since the team needs to synchronise movement across very differently built pullers. For a newly founded club, it's the discipline that tests teamwork more than any other.
